Joinery Estimator

The Role:

You will be part of the shop-fitting and joinery team working within a fast paced environment which will be supported by working closely with the Senior Estimator and a wider team of industry professionals.

Duties are not limited too but will include:

• Working on projects within the commercial, retail and hospitality space, 
• Pricing the building of shopfronts, internal walls, back of house areas, floor build-up prep, ceilings, bulkheads, entry structures etc
• Be given full autonomy to deliver creative and exciting projects,
• Provide the clients with alternative options,
• Negotiate final pricing,
• Complete projects within budget and timeframes
• Building relationships and liaising with clients and other colleagues
• Adhere to Health & Safety

The Ideal Candidate:

• 2-4 years across shop fitting, interiors, or light commercial
• A solid understanding of joinery processes
• Knowledge of NZ build methodology
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills
• Proven estimating skillset
• Good with negotiation and understanding of the construction lifecycle
