An established and burgeoning civil engineering consultancy is excited to be recruiting for an Intermediate Civil Engineer to join their Auckland team.
  
The role has come about as a result of 10 years of consistent business development and delivering outstanding results for repeat and referred clients.
  
They have large scale green and brownfield land development projects coming out their ears as well as large scale plan change projects.
  
As such, they need an independent Intermediate Civil Engineer who can hit the ground running with minimal supervision to help continue the momentum and growth of the business.
  
For almost 10 years now these experts have been providing services in the land development, infrastructure, and surveying spaces.
  
They pride themselves on their project management expertise, personal service and running accurate and detailed project feasibility assessments at the start of projects – all which has probed invaluable to their broad client base across the public and private sectors ranging from home builders, iwi’s, property developers, social housing providers and community trusts.
  
Reporting to the Director of Civil Engineering (A real people person whose very culture focused) and a Chartered Engineer, you’ll be working with the best for the best.

Responsibilities:
  
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • General Civil Engineering Design on Land Development Projects
  • Providing feasibility assessments and scheme options to property development clients
  • Working with the surveying team to design all aspects of a subdivision including, roading, water, earthworks, erosion and sediment control and cut and fill using CIVIL 3D and AutoCAD
  • Performing Construction supervision
  • Oversee tendering

Requirements:
  • A BEngTech from Unitech or a Bachelor Of Engineering (Most of the company studied at Unitech)
  • Self-motivated
  • Practice independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience with using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • 4 years or more of local New Zealand experience required
  • The gravitas and relationship building skills to manage relations with clients and contractors to achieve wins and positive outcomes consistently
