To support operational excellence across the Sylvia Park precinct, a mixed use asset comprising of retail, office, residential and industrial, the opportunity for a Facilities Lead has arisen.

The Role
The Facilities Lead is responsible for delivering safe, sustainable, and high‑performing environments across Sylvia Park. You will oversee all asset performance, compliance, contractor management, and operational standards, while leading a team of Facility Managers and a Facilities Coordinator. This is a hands‑on leadership role with significant influence on tenant, customer, and visitor experience.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring all assets are presented, maintained, and operated to the highest standard
  • Building strong relationships with tenants, contractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Managing all maintenance activities, asset registers, and plant performance
  • Overseeing security operations, cleaning, landscaping, and service contractors
  • Leading the facilities team, providing coaching, direction, and performance development
  • Ensuring full compliance with H&S legislation, emergency readiness, and risk management requirements
  • Preparing and managing OPEX and CAPEX budgets, reporting on operational performance
  • Delivering sustainability initiatives and tracking environmental performance metrics
  • Managing capital projects and tenancy fit‑outs in line with standards and stakeholder expectations
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
  • Significant experience in facilities or property management, ideally across mixed‑use assets
  • Strong technical knowledge of building services, maintenance, and compliance
  • Proven contract, budget, and reporting management capabilities
  • Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • A tertiary qualification in Property or Facilities Management (preferred)
