They are currently looking for an experienced Asset Manager to manage the tenants and properties in their South Island portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to be the lead contact on the South Island portfolio and apply best practice asset management to increase portfolio value.

The Role
The key responsibilities in this role may include but limited to the following:
- Proactively manage day to day tenant relationships and key point of contact for the South Island assets;
- Work with the wider team to develop leasing strategies, negotiate new leases, renewals, reviews, subleases and manage lease expiries;
- Prepare, implement and regularly review Annual Strategic Business Plans for each asset, designed to enhance portfolio value and investor returns;
- Set, review, report and deliver on Net Operating Income and Capital Expenditure budgets for the assets in the portfolio;
- Drive new revenue opportunities in line with the wider business and strategic plan.
In order to be successful in this role, you will likely have the following skills and attributes:
- Bachelor of Property Degree or similar tertiary qualification (preferred, but not essential)
- 3 years’ experience within property
- Strong customer service ethic and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication
