I’m working with a highly respected multidisciplinary consultancy in Auckland that is looking to add a Senior Civil Engineer to its growing Three Waters team.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for leading the design and delivery of a wide variety of Three Waters projects, from strategic upgrades to urgent site-based support, while also contributing to the growth and development of the team through informal mentoring and knowledge sharing.
Projects include:
- Urgent operational responses such as burst mains and slip repairs
- Stormwater separations, infrastructure upgrades, and development support
- Water and wastewater pipelines, pump stations, treatment plant upgrades
- Inspections, scoping, quoting, and day-to-day client communications
- Supporting junior engineers and draftspersons across design and delivery
- This is a highly visible delivery role with plenty of variety, autonomy, and opportunity for career growth.
What You’ll Bring
- BE (Civil) or equivalent with ideally 8+ years’ of New Zealand experience in Three Waters
- Strong technical design skills across stormwater, wastewater, and water supply. Strong experience with Civil3D, AutoCAD and HEC - HMS, HEC - RES would be advantageous
- Ability to lead projects independently and manage client expectations
- A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support and mentor others
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Public sector infrastructure experience is a bonus
