THE ROLE
An opportunity presents itself for a Senior Structural engineer to join one of the best respected structural engineering consultancies in Auckland. The successful candidate will get to use modern software/analysis tools (listed below) while working in a supportive and experienced team as part of a large and diverse structural engineering business. The successful candidate will work on an array of projects across the education, warehousing, high rise, commercial and industrial sectors for some of the country’s property developers and businesses. New Zealand experience is a must and design, and communication skills are integral to this role.

THE ROLE

SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will have:
- A Bachelor of Engineering Degree.
- Strong Design skills.
- Strong understanding of seismic ductility.
- New Zealand experience as a structural engineer.
- Understanding of New Zealand building codes.
- Able to undertake seismic assessments – ISA & DSA.
- Great communicator – both verbal and written.
- Professional experience using ETABS software and Micro Scan.
