On behalf of Opteon, a leading valuation business in Australasia, Assemble are recruiting a Regional Director to join their team here in Auckland. Opteon are a provider of independent, market leading valuation and property advisory services with over 80 offices and 700+ staff members, including over 500 valuers.
The Regional Director is a key leadership role within the Government & Advisory team, providing technical Valuation leadership to ensure the short- and long-term growth and success of Opteon. The strategic focus of the role is to lead the development of staff, implementation of successful training process and delivery of triennial revaluations and other valuations outcomes for clients.

In your new position you will work with the National Director, Director of Operations and registered valuers within the team on key tasks including but not limited to:
- The delivery of all valuations, including but not limited to revaluations, maintenance and financial reporting
- Implement effective, consistent valuation training for Valuers within the Government & Advisory team
- Be responsible for the review and implementation of task efficiencies that enable the Government Services team to deliver outcomes on time and within budget
- Identify and document any areas of Risk within the project plan and communicate plan to remedy by submission date
- Monitor KPI’s and deliver financial reporting work as set out by contract. Delivered on time and within budget.
- Lead monthly customer meetings to report on project progress and performance against contractual KPIs.
- Degree in Property or an equivalent qualification
- Registered Valuer (NZ)
- Extensive industry experience leading a team, including the training of junior staff
