A leading national civil construction company, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their Bridges team in Hawkes Bay.

The Role:
As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and construction of bridge projects across Hawkes Bay. Working alongside an already established team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute your experience and deliver projects that were affected from the Cyclone. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with external design teams to develop plans and specifications for construction.
  • Conduct structural analysis to ensure the integrity and safety of bridge components.
  • Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders. 
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively with the PM.
  • Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with design standards and safety regulations.
  • Implement quality assurance measures to uphold project quality and excellence.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in bridge construction projects is desirable. 
  • Strong technical proficiency in structural analysis software and engineering principles.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
