The role
This is a great opportunity for an Infrastructure Project Manager to join the team in Wellington and be responsible for delivering high quality services to their major clients on a diverse range of projects across the horizontal sector from inception to completion.

You will be responsible for your own portfolio of projects but also work closely with the Project Director on major projects. You will form solid relationships with all stakeholders while working your way through the project life cycle to achieve high quality results. In addition, you will also be across the following:
  • Ensuring design specifications are being met during the construction process
  • Building a strong relationship with your clients so they are confident in your ability and for future work
  • Managing resources in conjunction with team and suppliers
  • Maintaining, managing and documenting all project reports and statements 
  • Keeping Directors informed of project progress and cost status 
  • Understanding cost-to-completion projections and assisting in making decisions accordingly 
  • Ensuring completion of any project in a timely manner and within the budgetary limits 
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A relevant construction qualification.
  • Highly motivated, able to work independently, diligent and with an eye for detail.
  • Experience in delivering a range of infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
  • Experience in a consultancy environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Client facing experience and comfortable with running meetings.
  • Positively contribute to the internal team and seek to add value.
  • Ability to form effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
