Development Manager

Due to growth in the Auckland office an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Development Manager to join the team.  Working in the commercial and industrial team you will be responsible for the management and delivery of multiple projects across New Zealand all at different stages of the lifecycle.

You will have significant project delivery ideally within the commercial and industrial sectors and will be able to ensure that the projects are running on time, and that quality and cost are at held at the core of this role.

Your responsibilities will see you being involved in projects from concept to completion and will include managing and developing design briefs, cost management, coordinating project resources, managing the design process and contract management.

You will have a strong track record of experience working in a construction, consultancy and/or client-side project management and will be able to lead from the front on all these large industrial projects.

A tertiary degree in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Building, is a must along with 5 + years' related work experience managing and delivering commercial style projects ranging from $100 million +

Excellent construction stakeholder management and along with the following skills are required:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Management and appointment of all 3rd parties
• Management and execution of Agreements
• A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with a can-do attitude
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and consultative skills
