You’ll play a key role in pricing and securing projects that are essential to the livelihood of our communities, from pump stations and water treatment plants to pipelines and watermains.
What You’ll Bring
- Around 4–5 years’ experience in estimating water & energy infrastructure projects
- Strong technical skills in cost estimation and tender preparation
- A sharp eye for detail and a knack for building strong subcontractor and supplier relationships
- A tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar
- NZ work rights

- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
- Source, evaluate, and analyse pricing from subcontractors, suppliers, and plant hire
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to validate construction methods
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and conditions with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to secure favourable agreements
- Manage post-contract activities, including monitoring compliance and documenting performance
