This forward-thinking, innovative company focused on discovering, designing, and delivering quality commercial and residential projects across the North Island is looking to expand its offering to the market.

The business already has two successful company arms: Development & Construction. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to help build and lead their new business to the market based in Auckland.

This is a significant hire where the person will be working with the senior leadership team to build and grow their fit out & building maintenance offering across:
  • Their own portfolio
  • Services for current and new clients.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Being the go to construction expert working alongside the GM on the management of projects.
  • Presenting to new and existing clients the company’s services through strong commercial and client relationship management.
  • Leading and expanding the overall building maintenance function and capability in line with the company’s strategy.
  • Inspect, identify, plan, and deliver on a variety of fit out and maintenance works.
  • Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for execution of work.
  • Implement workplace safety policies and standards.
  • Help grow the business line and be part of recruitment and training of new staff.

You will also have:
  • Ideally come from a trade qualification.
  • Commercial and/or residential building fit out/maintenance experience on site or for the client. 
  • Proven experience in long term maintenance contracts and/or refurbishment projects.
  • Extensive stakeholder management experience
  • You must be a team player with well-developed EQ who can lead by example.
  • Strong Health, Safety and Environmental risk management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to produce high quality reports.
