As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll join the Northland team and work closely under the Regional Lead and Senior Project Managers. With the main office in Whangārei and projects spread across both Whangārei and Kerikeri, the role can be based in either location.
You’ll gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, supporting with administration, project documentation, reporting and meeting minutes, while developing the skills to manage your own projects in the future. The majority of your work will be within the education sector, giving you the chance to work on meaningful projects that directly impact communities.

  • From Graduate to 3 years’ experience in construction, consultancy, engineering or architecture within New Zealand.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident and professional manner.
  • A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Someone adaptable, organised, and motivated to grow into a consultancy project management career.
Why Apply?

  • Work on projects that have a tangible impact on local communities.
  • Join a consultancy with nationwide scale and long-term career pathways.
  • Be part of a supportive, team-driven culture that invests in your growth.
