Our client, a prominent leader in the construction industry, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their prestigious team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the success of major interior fit-out projects across Auckland.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership in cost management, ensuring optimal financial performance on all interior fit-out projects.
- Lead the preparation and negotiation of tender and contract documents, driving best-value procurement strategies.
- Oversee complex project portfolios of varying values, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives and risk management frameworks.
- Deliver comprehensive financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis to support executive decision-making.
- Collaborate with senior management and project teams to identify and capitalise on cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage client relationships across a diverse range of projects, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Mentor and develop junior quantity surveying staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Maintain strong relationships with contractors and stakeholders to enhance project outcomes.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying.
- Extensive experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally within interior fit-out projects; carpentry is also advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of New Zealand construction practices, regulations, and standards.
- Exceptional commercial acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
- Proven track record in delivering projects within budget and on time, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage complex, high-value projects and multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
- Personality fit will be someone outgoing, confident and social.
