Here at Assemble we are proud Associate Partners of MATES in Construction NZ. As we are coming to the end of mental health awareness week here in New Zealand this feels like a good time to highlight the important work MATES in Construction NZare doing within the construction industry.
MATES in Construction NZhave three key focus areas to work towards their vision of significantly improving mental wellness and reducing suicide in the construction industry. These are: 1. To advance mental health and social services in NZ by promoting the prevention and control of mental illness for people engaged in the construction industry 2. Providing leadership for people to gain better access to mental health services 3. Building a stronger more resilient workforce.
We have witnessed first-hand the impact their work is having both within our clients and on our candidates, and support them fully in their drive to make change in the industry.
