The Role
Due to continued growth and a strong forward workload, the business is seeking an experienced Supervisor to join their Auckland team.
You’ll play a key role in managing the day-to-day activities on site, driving project performance, managing material/ resources and making sure health and safety is front and centre of the project team’s mind.

You’ll play a key role in managing the day-to-day activities on site, driving project performance, managing material/ resources and making sure health and safety is front and centre of the project team’s mind.

- Supervise daily site operations to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to spec.
- Coordinate crews and subcontractors, assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
- Run daily pre-starts and toolbox talks to reinforce safety and identify hazards.
- Liaise with project managers and engineers on progress, issues, and design changes.
- Inspect completed work for quality and compliance with NZ standards.
- Manage materials, plant, and deliveries to maintain productivity
- Keep accurate site records, including diaries and timesheets
- Around 10+ years’ industry experience (Preferably in NZ), working on relevant projects with exposure to bulk earthworks, water infrastructure, retaining walls etc
- Ability to read and interpret plans/ construction drawings
- Ability to lead teams and coordinate subcontractors
- Health and safety focused with keen understanding of environmental requirements
- NZ work rights without sponsorship
- NZ work rights and local project experience are essential
