This role is suited to a high performing Senior Project Manager who has extensive experience in a consultancy construction environment delivering projects within NZ. You will be responsible for managing projects end-to-end from design concept through to construction delivery and final handover, while acting as the key point of contact for clients and stakeholders.

This role is suited to a high performing Senior Project Manager who has extensive experience in a consultancy construction environment delivering projects within NZ. You will be responsible for managing projects end-to-end from design concept through to construction delivery and final handover, while acting as the key point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
The Role:
- Lead and take ownership of complex projects from inception through to completion and handover
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building and maintaining strong long-term relationships
- Develop and lead procurement strategies, project programmes, and delivery methodologies
- Provide leadership across consultant and contractor teams through all project phases
- Take full responsibility for project financials, including budgets, forecasting, cost control, and reporting
- Chair project meetings and drive clear, proactive communication across all stakeholders
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks while ensuring successful outcomes
- Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to the overall capability of the business
- This is a senior, client-facing role requiring a high level of autonomy, commercial acumen, and leadership, with the support of an experienced and collaborative company directors.
What We’re Looking For:
- 8–12+ years’ project management experience in New Zealand
- Proven consultancy or client-side experience is essential
- Strong track record delivering projects end-to-end across relevant sectors
- Highly developed stakeholder and client management capability at a senior level
- Excellent understanding of construction methodology, procurement, and project lifecycle
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex budgets, programmes, and risk independently
- Solid experience administering NZ3910 contracts
- A relevant qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Architecture or similar
