The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of project delivery while also playing a critical role in shaping the future of the region through local business development. This is a hands-on leadership role with a clear pathway into a Regional / Area Manager position over time.
You’ll be:
- Leading projects end-to-end across a diverse portfolio (education, retirement, commercial and potentially healthcare)
- Acting as the face of the business locally, building relationships and generating opportunities
- Driving business development, leveraging your network and identifying new work streams
- Working closely with senior leadership on strategy, pipeline and growth
- Helping establish and grow a high-performing regional presence
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a well-rounded Senior Project Manager who brings both delivery excellence and commercial instinct.
You’ll likely have:
- Proven experience delivering construction projects as a Senior PM (contractor or client-side)
- Strong commercial acumen - understanding how to price, position and win work
- A track record of building and maintaining client relationships
- The ability to demonstrate an established network across the Waikato / Central North Island (A must)
- The ability to operate at both project level and strategic level
- A natural leadership style that aligns with a down-to-earth, values-driven culture
