This established project management consultancy has a strong opportunity for a capable Project Manager to join their Auckland team.
The business is recognised for delivering high-quality, complex projects across the healthcare, education, and commercial sectors, with a strong pipeline of repeat work from long-standing clients. Their portfolio includes significant projects across Auckland, and they are known for combining technical expertise with a collaborative, delivery-focused approach.
This role is suited to a Project Manager with consultancy construction experience in New Zealand. You will be responsible for managing projects end-to-end from early design and planning through to construction delivery and handover, while working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors across all stages.

The Role:
  • Lead and manage projects from inception through to completion and handover
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, building trusted long-term relationships
  • Coordinate consultants and contractors across all project phases
  • Develop and manage project programmes, delivery methodology and reporting
  • Take responsibility for budgets, forecasting, cost control and risk management
  • Chair project meetings and ensure clear, proactive communication across stakeholders
  • Support delivery of high-quality outcomes across healthcare, education and commercial projects
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment alongside experienced senior leaders
  • Gain mentorship and development opportunities toward more senior leadership roles
This is a hands-on consultancy role with strong client exposure, offering the opportunity to develop both technical and commercial capability while working closely with experienced industry leaders.

What We’re Looking For:
  • 5–10+ years’ project management experience within a New Zealand construction Project Management Consultancy
  • Proven ability to deliver projects end-to-end across commercial, healthcare, education or similar sectors
  • Strong stakeholder and client management skills
  • Sound understanding of construction methodology, project delivery, and procurement processes
  • Experience with NZ3910 contract administration
  • Ability to manage budgets, programmes and risk with confidence
  • Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management or similar
