My client is a family-owned investment company that is passionate about New Zealand. They invest in various asset classes within New Zealand, including amongst others, an extensive property and healthcare portfolio, sustainable farming, and venture opportunities.

They continue to target long term asset performance through a disciplined and diligent approach and are looking to add to their in-house project and facilities team to ensure tenants are properly serviced and the portfolio is maintained at optimal performance levels.

The Role 
This role will require you to use your Building or Trades background to lead and manage projects ranging from $10,000 - $5mil plus. You will work as part of the Projects and Asset Management teams.

The key responsibilities in this role may include but not be limited to the following: 
  • Liaise with tenants directly on all Project & FM activities, responding to queries in a timely manner and ensuring daily property inspections are completed and documented;
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly reporting, ensuring the BWoF schedule is adhered to and monitoring compliance across the portfolio;
  • Managing and supporting with contractor management processes, including insurance and health and safety documentation across the business;
  • Management of capital expenditure projects including project management tracking and reporting;
  • Processing invoices and work orders;
  • Attending to minor R&M items.
About You   
In order to be successful in this role, you will likely have the following skills and attributes: 
  • 3-5 years’ experience in either a Builder or Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical trades background
  • Strong customer service ethic and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Full NZ drivers license
