With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued growth across the region, they are now looking to add an Junior Project Manager to their Nelson team.

The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with construction industry experience who is looking to take the next step into project management.

Working alongside experienced Project Managers and Directors, you will gain exposure to a broad range of projects across commercial, healthcare, aviation, civic, infrastructure, and development sectors throughout the Top of the South and wider South Island. You will assist with the coordination and delivery of projects from planning and design through to construction and completion, learning from some of the industry's leading professionals along the way.

You will be involved in project programming, consultant and contractor coordination, client communication, site meetings, reporting, and contract administration, with increasing responsibility as your skills and confidence grow.

What we’re looking for:
  • 2+ years' experience within the construction industry (site, consultancy, engineering, quantity surveying, architecture, or similar)
  • A relevant qualification, or currently studying towards one, in construction management, engineering, property, building science, or a related discipline
  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in project management
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Well organised with good attention to detail
  • Eager to learn, take initiative, and develop under experienced mentors
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to get involved
