This multi – disciplinary engineering consultancy has experienced some of the fastest growth in New Zealand’s burgeoning engineering sector over the last few years. Located in Central Auckland this business are experts in Civil Engineering and Land Development and have created an eco-system for Engineers of all levels to thrive. Directors and Seniors work closely with junior and Intermediate engineers to achieve the best possible outcomes for their ever-growing list of clients.
  
Engineers are not pigeonholed and get exposure to all areas of engineering from to design to completion across the residential, commercial and government asset classes.
  
  
THE ROLE
There is an opportunity for an exceptional engineer to work on a wide variety of projects from small-medium scale commercial developments, through to large scale residential subdivisions. As an Intermediate Engineer you will produce detailed designs, prepare drawings, perform engineering calculations, analysis, and design. As well as producing high quality reports and plans detailing the design and engineering of of earthworks, roads, water, stormwater, and wastewater infrastructure
  
  
SKILLS and EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have the following:
  
  • A minimum of 3 years’ previous experience required in NZ
  • A relevant tertiary education (BE, NZDE, BEngtech)
  • Experience using the latest design software in AutoCAD/ Civil 3D.
  • Understanding construction contracts specifically NZS3910
  • Comfortable working onsite conducting inspections and managing contractors
  • A high standard of oral and written communication skills
  • A confident/professional approach whilst dealing with clients
