The Role
This is a pivotal senior hire, not a standard appointment.
You will lead the delivery of complex infrastructure projects and programmes across the full lifecycle, operating as a senior voice with clients and providing direction across delivery strategy, governance, and commercial outcomes.
Alongside this, there is a strong opportunity and appetite to bring depth in a particular area of expertise, most notably project controls, to strengthen and broaden the overall service offering of the business.
The expectation is not just to deliver, but to elevate how delivery is done - bringing structure, insight, and discipline, while remaining adaptable across different project environments and client needs.
You will also play a key role internally, mentoring others, contributing to capability development, and helping shape the ongoing growth of the infrastructure team.
With further investment planned across the team, this role will help set the tone for what comes next.
The expertise we're looking for
This role is suited to someone who has built their career across infrastructure delivery and is comfortable operating at a senior level across complex programmes.
You are likely coming from a Consultancy, client side or delivery environment where you've had exposure to major projects and understand what good delivery looks like in practice.

- Brings extensive experience across infrastructure project delivery (transport preferred)
- Is confident operating across the full project lifecycle, from strategy through to delivery
- Has depth in at least one specialist area - ideally project controls (cost, planning, risk, reporting)
- Is comfortable advising and influencing senior stakeholders
- Understands the commercial and procurement environment underpinning major projects
- Has the ability and interest to build capability, both in people and service offering
