An opportunity has arisen for a Facilities Manager to come on board and play a key role in the operational performance of a premium Auckland portfolio within one of New Zealand’s most well-regarded property businesses.
The Role
Reporting to the National Operations Manager, this role is responsible for the day-to-day operational performance, maintenance, and compliance of a portfolio of commercial assets.
You will take a proactive, hands-on approach to facilities management, ensuring a high-performing environment that enhances tenant experience while maintaining best practice standards across operations, sustainability, and risk management.

The responsibilities under this role may include but are not limited to the following:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of a premium commercial property portfolio
- Deliver best practice facilities management services to optimise building performance and tenant experience
- Manage contractors and service providers to ensure high-quality delivery across all building services
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, regulatory, and risk management standards
- Monitor operational budgets, cost control, and financial performance of the portfolio
- Support the delivery of maintenance and capital works programmes, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
In order to fulfil the duties of the role, the preferred candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in property, construction, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred
- Experience within commercial property, ideally with 3 to 4 years in a similar role
- Strong technical understanding of building systems, maintenance, and property operations
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills with a strong customer service focus
- A collaborative team player who demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and a passion for excellence
