An established civil contractor is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join its team and play a key role in delivering major land development projects in Central Otago.
About the Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading day‑to‑day site operations, coordinating crews, subcontractors, and plant, and ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

- Supervising site teams, subcontractors, and plant resources
- Planning and coordinating daily and weekly work programmes
- Maintaining strong HSEQ performance, including compliance with NZ legislation and site systems
- Driving quality outcomes, inspections, and documentation processes
- Leading toolbox talks, briefings, and site communication
- Monitoring productivity, plant utilisation, and project progress
- Maintaining accurate site records and reporting
You are a hands on supervisor with a background in civil construction who enjoys leading teams and delivering results in a fast paced site environment.
You will bring:
- Proven experience supervising civil or land development projects
- Strong knowledge of NZ Health & Safety and environmental requirements
- Ability to read plans and manage quality and compliance processes
- Confident leadership and communication skills
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
