Job description

On behalf of Stride Property, one of New Zealand’s leading listed property companies, Assemble are recruiting for an Assistant Facilities Managers to join the team at one of their prime office assets at 20 Custom Quay House. Stride Property Group (SPG) is an NZX listed stapled group comprising Stride Property Limited (Stride) and Stride Investment Management Limited (SIML). They are primarily investors in New Zealand office, retail and industrial property. SIML is a specialist real estate investment manager with over $3bn in assets under management across the Industrial, Office, Large Format retail and Town Centre sectors.
  
About the Role
You will be responsible for overseeing and facilitating all front desk concierge duties and assisting with facilities management, maintenance, compliance and presentation. On offer is the opportunity to join one of the largest listed Property businesses in the country, with the ability to grow internally within the Wellington team and wider Stride business. 
Key responsibilities and outcomes for the role include but are not limited to:
  • Be the onsite representative for tenants and contractors.
  • Undertake arranging maintenance and repair of building services (potentially outside of business hours).
  • Manage invoicing and raise internal purchase orders for contractor invoicing for approval by the Asset Manager.
  • Assist across the general facilities for Fabric’s wider Wellington Office Portfolio.
  • Manage the safety of contractors and third-party workers in line with SIML’s contractor management systems and Health and Safety Policies.
  • Manage contractor access, programming key cards and managing the building key register.
About you
To be successful in the role you should be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
  • Facilities management, custom service or trade experience is preferred but not necessary.
  • Provide a welcoming presence and experience to visitors and tenants.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication with a strong attention to detail.
  • Full driver’s license.
